NM 599-US 84/285 On-ramp Improvements
The New Mexico Department of Transportation and Federal Highway
Administration are sponsoring a public meeting to provide information and obtain
your valuable input on a proposal to realign and reconstruct the east to
southbound on-ramp, including an acceleration lane, from New Mexico State
Highway 599 (NM 599) to US Highway 84/285 (US 84/285) in the City of Santa Fe,
New Mexico.

Santa Fe, NM 87506
Purpose: The proposed realignment and
reconstruction is intended to improve:
� visibility and merge distance at the NM 599-US 84/285 ramp, thus, enhancing safety
� drainage
� access, by closing the Viento Drive-US 84/285 intersection
� lighting (relocation of existing lighting)
� deteriorating center concrete wall barrier on US 84/285
Residents, landowners, and all interested parties are encouraged to participate in
the meeting.
The public can submit questions or comments about the project during or after the

Comments will be accepted until February 5, 2020.
